Warranties and Returns
We honor all our manufacturers' warranties. If Griffin gives you a 1-year
warranty that is what we give you. If the product fails within that period you
may return it to us for a replacement.
You MUST contact us for an RMA NUMBER PRIOR TO SHIPPING THE PRODUCT BACK TO US.
Of course, we make every effort, regardless of the official warranty period to
obtain a replacement for our customers on failing products.
Shipping and Ordering Mistakes
We strive for perfection, but occasionally we might make an error, and ship you
the incorrect product. In such a case you may ship the product back to us on
our shipping account number. Unless the product is of high value, our regular
customers generally wait and ship the product back with any other returns they
accumulate over a period of time. However, you MUST notify us PROMPTLY that an
error has been made.
If you make an error and order the wrong product, you may ship it back to us
immediately or with other returns. Again, you MUST notify us PROMPTLY that an
error has been made.
We need to be notified, because although restocking polices are generally
standard, some manufacturers have shorter time limits and stricter policies.
In the case of missing product you have been billed for, we need prompt
notification to trace the error.
Software Upgrades
We are not the only U.S. based company to sell software abroad. However, we are
the only company to provide upgrades for ALL the software products we sell, not
just the ones that the manufacturers sell en masse through distributors.
Normally, all we require is the serial # and/or registration # for the product.
In some cases we may need a copy of the original disk to be faxed to us. Only a
few manufacturers actually require that they receive the original disks back
before issuing an upgrade. In such cases, our clients send us the disk via Air
Mail.
This, however, is rare. We have never failed to obtain an upgrade for a product
purchased through us. In fact, we have provided upgrades for products our
clients purchased from other suppliers before they switched to Virtual
Neighbors.
As you know more and more Manufacturers are selling Upgrades as separate
software packages through normal channels, which do not require submission of
serial numbers or customer registration. In addition, many are offering
upgrades via downloads from their websites.
Delivery
We ship C.I.F. via DHL, door-to-door, with all customs clearance handled by DHL.
Delivery time is from 3-5 days from ship date.If an item is backordered you
will be notified immediately.
Virtual Neighbors is fully insured by one of America's largest insurance
companies. Therefore, if products are damaged or missing, we can rely on the
financial strength of our insurance company, no matter what the value of the
damaged or missing goods.
Payment
We accept payment via wire-transfers We also accept VISA and MASTERCARD with no
surcharge.
